Designed with our uniform dimension system to keep over-weight javelins at competition size standards. Competition javelins are distance rated for an intermediate thrower and utilize a stiffer compound for increased transfer of force into the implement. Over-weight javelins are developed to be more flexible in an effort to reduce joint trauma and injury while maintaining comp size standards.
