Velaasa Announces NCAA Sponsorship Model

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Velaasa announces sponsorship program expansion into NCAA

Minneapolis, MN. (March 1, 2021) -- Velaasa announced today the expansion of sponsorships into NCAA programs in advance of upcoming federal deregulation that will allow active athletes to profit from their name and likeness.

“NCAA non-revenue sports have faced unprecedented cuts while the schools, television networks and corporations have made billions. The athletes have always been cut out of the profits and told what they can and can't wear, but that is about to change in a landmark way." said Lynden Reder, founder at Velaasa.  "NCAA athletes in our model will now have the flexibility to financially benefit from their influence while also competing in the NCAA system. We are excited to be a part of it and look forward to working with athletes in this new era for the NCAA" said Reder.
