Velaasa announced today new athlete agreements with an impressive list of Olympians from around the world. The group includes among others, two-time Olympic bronze medalist and 2017 World Champion in the men's shot put from New Zealand Tom Walsh, U.S. Olympian and Pan Am gold medalist in Olympic weightlifting Jourdan Delacruz, and the current world leader and U23 world record holder in the men’s discus throw, Kristjan Ceh from Slovenia.
“This group of athletes are some of the most accomplished in their respective specialties in the world,” said Strategic Partnerships Director Paul Schmaedeke. “They bring the credibility of “all-time-great” caliber performances at the highest levels and have also just as impressively established very positive reputations within their sports communities,” said Schmaedeke.
